Membership Rights. A unit member may elect to become or not become a member 9 of CSEA Long Beach Chapter 2. A unit member who elects not to become a member may 10 forfeit some representational right from CSEA not required by law, and should consult 11 with CSEA Long Beach Chapter 2 for clarification. 12
Membership Rights. All employees working in the bargaining unit shall have the right to become a union member upon hire. When possible, the Port will strive to refer questions from employees about union membership directly to the union.
