Membership in the Bargaining Unit. All Graduate Students who are working as Graduate Student Teaching Assistants (GSTA) and, or Graduate Student Research Assistants (GSRA) are members of the Bargaining Unit since receiving GSTA and, or GSRA income is by CRA definition, “employment”.

Membership in the Bargaining Unit. All graduate students who are working as Teaching Assistants are members of the bargaining unit since TA income is by definition, “employment”. All graduate students who are working as Research Assistants (RA’s) are members of the bargaining unit.
Membership in the Bargaining Unit. All Graduate Students who are working as Graduate Student Teaching Assistants (GSTA) and, or Graduate Student Research Assistants (GSRA) are members of the Bargaining Unit since receiving GSTA and, or GSRA income is by CRA definition, “employment”. Employment Activities It is crucial to understand that the GSTA and GSRA Employment Contract Forms located at Appendices B1 and, or, B2 respectively, MUST be used to establish the Employment Contract; and any changes to the Employment Contract MUST be made utilizing Appendices C1 and, or C2. In accordance with Article 13 (Clause 13.02) a full GSTA appointment is considered to be 130 hours in an Academic Term (average 10 hours per week time (x) 13 weeks). In accordance with Article 15 (Clause 15.07) an Employee shall not be required to work more than fifteen (15) hours in a week without the Employee’s consent. A full time Graduate Student will not normally be employed as a GSTA and, or, GSRA for more than 520 hours over a 12 month period.   • Bargaining Units The bargaining units shall consist of:

  • Bargaining Unit The term "bargaining unit" as used in this Agreement refers to the bargaining unit defined in Article 1, Recognition.

A nurse who is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of more than three (3) months, but not more than one (1) year shall retain, but not accumulate, her or his seniority held at the time of the transfer. In the event the nurse is returned to a position in the bargaining unit, she or he shall be credited with seniority held at the time of transfer and resume accumulation from the date of her or his return to the bargaining unit.   • Bargaining Unit Member Rights 1. When an employee is to be interviewed or questioned concerning a complaint or allegation of misconduct, the employee will be informed of, prior to the interview, the nature of the investigation and whether the employee is the subject of the investigation or a witness in the investigation. If the employee is the subject of investigation, the employee will also be informed of the specifics of each complaint or allegation against him/her.

  • Bargaining Unit Roster Upon the signing of this Agreement and monthly thereafter, the Employer shall supply to the Union via a secured method an alphabetical list of all employees covered by this Agreement. The list shall include the name, address, employee identification number, date of hire, rehire date (if applicable), shift, FTE, job classification, department cost center number, unit, hourly rate of pay and monthly gross earnings. Each month, the Employer will provide a list of new hires and addresses, and a list of all employees who have terminated during the month via a secured method. The new hire and termination lists shall include the same data as the monthly employee roster except for monthly gross earnings. The termination list shall include the termination date.
