Common use of Membership in Good Standing Clause in Contracts

Membership in Good Standing. For the purposes of Section and an employee shall not be deemed to have lost his membership in the Union in good standing until the International Treasurer of the Union shall have determined that the membership of such employee in the Union is not in good standing and shall have given the Company a notice in writing of that fact. Conformance with Federal and Provincial Laws The foregoing provisions shall be effective in accordance with and consistent with applicable provisions of federal and provincial law.
