Medical Repatriation. If You suffer a Serious Injury or Serious Illness during Your Journey, and in Our or the Service Provider’s opinion, it is judged medically appropriate to return You to Malaysia, the Service Provider will arrange the repatriation utilizing the means We or the Service Provider believe to be the most appropriate based on the medical severity of Your condition.

Medical Repatriation. Following an Emergency Medical Evacuation or a covered Injury or Sickness, We will pay for Medical Evacuation expenses to return You to Your point of origin, Your Primary Residence, or to a Hospital or medical facility closest to Your Primary Residence capable of providing continued treatment. The Medical Repatriation must be approved by Your local attending Physician. We will pay for one of the following methods of transportation:
Medical Repatriation. When prescribed by the treating physician and in agreement with the Medical Team of the COMPANY, the COMPANY will provide the BENEFICIARY with:
Medical Repatriation. If We have accepted a claim under Optional Cover I.B.32 for Emergency evacuation of the Insured Person, We may request for the repatriation of the Insured Person to a Hospital in the Insured Person’s country of domicile or to the original work location or the location from which the Insured Person was evacuated when a Medical Practitioner named by Our medical assistance service, after speaking with a local attending Medical Practitioner, decides that the Insured Person is fit to undertake the journey. We will pay Reasonable and Customary Charges for the most economical cost of travel (transport only) for the Insured Person. If any mode of transportation other than the above is determined by the attending Medical Practitioner and agreed by Our medical assistance service, We will arrange accordingly and such will be covered by Us. Conditions:  Medical repatriations must be pre-authorised by Our medical team. Where it is not possible for pre- authorisation to be sought before the repatriation takes place, this must be sought as soon as possible thereafter. We will only authorise medical repatriation after the repatriation has occurred where it was not reasonably possible for authorisation to be sought before the repatriation took place.  Medical repatriation must be determined by Our medical team to be Medically Necessary to prevent the immediate and significant effects of Illness, Injury or conditions which if left untreated could result in a significant deterioration of health and it has been determined that the treatment is not available locally, and that it is necessary for medical reasons for the Insured Person to be returned to his/her country of domicile, the medical assistance service will arrange for the transport under proper medical supervision as soon as reasonably practicable.  In making Our determinations, We will consider the nature of emergency, the Insured Person’s medical condition and ability to travel, as well as other relevant circumstances including airport availability, weather conditions and distance to be covered.  Transportation will be provided by medically equipped specialty aircraft, commercial airline, train or ambulance depending upon the medical needs and available transportation specific to each case. Our maximum liability under this Benefit shall be limited to the Sum Insured mentioned against this benefit on the Policy Schedule.
Medical Repatriation. In the event that you are hospitalised outside Your hometown, (being a distance greater than 100 km from Your ordinary place of residence), Netcare 911 will arrange and pay, up to the limits specified in the Netcare 911 Benefit Table, for Your repatriation to a Medical Facility in or near Your hometown provided the provision of such service is, in the sole opinion of the Netcare 911 doctor, regarded as being medically justified (long-term inpatient treatment is required) and that medical supervision is required for such transfer. Netcare 911 will determine the means of transportation and timing of the repatriation in their sole discretion.
Medical Repatriation. In case of a serious illness, accident or a medical emergency and if it is absolutely necessary for the insured to be repatriated to his Country of Residence, the Assistance Company shall make arrangements for Repatriation under proper medical supervision. The Company shall then pay the repatriation cost and shall take in charge the related incurred expenses. Such Repatriation may take place by air ambulance, regular airline, or any other appropriate means of transportation.
Medical Repatriation. We/our Service Provider will arrange for transportation under medical supervision to the Insured person’s residence in India or to a medical or rehabilitation facility near the Insured person’s residence when We/our Service Provider’s consulting physician and the Insured person’s attending physician determines that transportation is medically necessary, at such time as the Insured person is medically cleared for travel by We/our Service Provider’s consulting physician and the attending physician.

  • MEDICAL REPORT The Agency/Department Head as a condition of granting sick leave with pay, may require medical evidence of sickness or injury acceptable to the Agency/Department. The acceptable medical evidence must be obtained from a medical practitioner currently treating the employee or the employee’s family member.

The MRO will be a licensed physician with knowledge of substance abuse disorders. The MRO shall have appropriate medical training to interpret and evaluate an employee’s test results in conjunction with his medical history and any other relevant biomedical information.
