Common use of Medical Leave Clause in Contracts

Medical Leave. Any employee who is unable to perform his/her duties because of a personal illness or disability (including for this purpose maternity) which extends beyond the period for which sick pay is received shall be granted a medical leave of absence without pay for the duration of such illness or disability, up to a total of one (1) calendar year. This period may be extended at the sole discretion of the Board.

Medical Leave. This year provided that this period may be extended at the sole discretion of the BoardBoard up to the number of years of service of such bargaining unit member in the District.

This year provided that this period may be extended at the sole discretion of the BoardBoard up to the number of years of service of such bargaining unit member in the District.
