Common use of Medical Exams Clause in Contracts

Medical Exams. 1. Subject to Section C.2 of this article, an employee who is subject to a Special Medical Examination to determine fitness for duty will, upon request of Occupational Medical Services or a health care provider conducting the exam, authorize the disclosure of medical information specifically and directly related to the current medical diagnosis, prognosis and any duty restrictions related to the diagnosis. Such disclosure will be made solely to Occupational Medical Services or to a health care provider conducting a special medical examination.
