Medical, Dental, School Authority and Legal Appointments. Whenever it is necessary for an employee to attend upon his/her doctor, dentist, lawyer, or appointments with school authorities during working hours he/she may be granted casual leave for these purposes.

  • Medical/Dental Appointments ‌ Where medical and/or dental appointments cannot be scheduled outside the employee's working hours, sick leave with pay shall be granted.

  • Medical Appointments Medical appointments may be charged to sick leave, provided the minimum time charged is not less than one-half (1/2) hour. Each absence shall be reported separately and authorized in advance by the employee's immediate supervisor.

  • Medical and Dental Appointments An employee may attend a medical consultation, receive dental treatment or be absent because of sickness for less than one-half day without reduction of sick leave credits and/or pay.

  • Governing Law, Regulatory Authority, and Rules The validity, interpretation and enforcement of this Agreement and each of its provisions shall be governed by the laws of the state of New York, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. This Agreement is subject to all Applicable Laws and Regulations. Each Party expressly reserves the right to seek changes in, appeal, or otherwise contest any laws, orders, or regulations of a Governmental Authority.

  • Legal Appeals a. Nothing contained in these provisions is intended to limit or impair the rights of any vendor or Contractor to seek and pursue remedies of law through the judicial process. Appendix C Appendix C, Contract Modification Procedure, attached hereto, is hereby expressly made a part of this Contract as fully as if set forth at length herein. Appendix D Appendix D, Pricing Schedules, attached hereto, is hereby expressly made a part of this Contract as fully as if set forth at length herein. The Parties expressly agree that these prices are established as “maximum Not-To-Exceed prices”. The Contractor acknowledges that any mini-bid under this Centralized Contract which includes pricing in excess of the “maximum Not-To-Exceed price” shall be rejected by the Authorized User. Amendments to Appendix D, Pricing Schedules, shall be processed in accordance with Appendix C, Contract Modification Procedure, section 4.8, OGS Centralized Contract Modifications and section 4.23 Price Adjustments for OGS Centralized Contracts. Appendix E Appendix E, Report of Contract Purchases, attached hereto, is hereby expressly made a part of this Contract as fully as if set forth at length herein. OGS reserves the right to make unilateral changes to this Report of Contract Purchases document. Appendix F Appendix F, Project Based Information Technology Consulting Services Processes and Forms, attached hereto, is hereby expressly made a part of this Contract as fully as if set forth at length herein. OGS reserves the right to change the processes and forms set forth Appendix F in non-material and substantive ways without seeking a contract amendment. Appendix F is comprised of the following attachments:

  • AUTHORITY AND PARTIES In accordance with the National Aeronautics and Space Act (51 U.S.C. § 20113(e)), this Agreement is entered into by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Xxxx Research Center, located at Xxxxxxx Xxxxx, XX 00000 (hereinafter referred to as "NASA" or "NASA ARC") and Founder Institute, Incorporated located at 0000 Xx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxx Xxxx, XX 00000-0000 (hereinafter referred to as "Partner" or "FI"). NASA and Partner may be individually referred to as a "Party" and collectively referred to as the "Parties."

  • Institution and Investigator acknowledge that SPONSOR has no obligation to indemnify or be responsible for any loss, claim, cost (including reasonable attorney fees) or demand if and to the extent such losses, claims or demands arise from any injuries or damages resulting from Institution’s, Investigator’s or the Study Personnel’s negligence, breach of this Agreement, failure to adhere to the Protocol, failure to obtain signed informed consent forms, failure to follow Applicable Law, misuse of the Study Drug, unauthorized warranties, or willful misconduct. Zdravotnické zařízení a zkoušející berou na vědomí, že ZADAVATEL nevyplatí žádné odškodnění ani není odpovědný za žádné ztráty, náklady, spory (včetně přiměřených nákladů na právní pomoc) či nároky v souvislosti s újmou či škodou, ke kterým došlo v důsledku nedbalosti na straně zdravotnického zařízení, zkoušejícího a/nebo členů týmu provádějícího klinické hodnocení a/nebo v důsledku toho, že zdravotnické zařízení, zkoušející a/nebo některý člen týmu provádějícího klinické hodnocení porušili ustanovení této smlouvy, porušili ustanovení protokolu, nenechali subjekt hodnocení podepsat informovaný souhlas, porušili ustanovení platných zákonů, chybným způsobem použili studijní léčivo ZADAVATELe, způsobili škodu úmyslným zaviněním a/nebo poskytli neoprávněné záruky. Touto povinností odškodnění není dotčeno přednostní pojistné krytí z povinného pojištění klinického hodnocení.

  • Medical Appointment for Pregnant Employees 35.9.1 Up to three decimal seven five (3.75) hours of reasonable time off with pay for each appointment will be granted to pregnant employees for the purpose of attending routine medical appointments.

  • Medical Examinations An employee may be required by the Employer, at the request of and at the expense of the Employer, to take a medical examination by a physician of the employee's choice. Employees may be required to take skin tests, x-ray examination, vaccination, inoculation and other immunization (with the exception of a rubella vaccination when the employee is of the opinion that a pregnancy is possible), unless the employee's physician has advised in writing that such a procedure may have an adverse affect on the employee's health.

  • Orally Administered Anticancer Medication In accordance with RIGL § 27-20-67, prescription drug coverage for orally administered anticancer medications is provided at a level no less favorable than coverage for intravenously administered or injected cancer medications covered under your medical benefit.
