Medicaid/HMP. Sub-acute withdrawal management and residential treatment services may be provided to eligible consumers who reside in the PIHP region and request the services. Sub-acute withdrawal management and residential services will be authorized based on medical necessity utilizing ASAM Criteria 3rd edition, as well as considering the individual needs of the person receiving services.
