For growth on solid media, LB was supplemented with 2% agar and antibiotics as required at the following concentrations: ampicillin (50 μg/mL), chloramphenicol (35 μg/mL), kanamycin (50 μg/mL), streptinomycin (50 μg/mL). For transformations, E. coli cells were grown in SOC medium (0.5% bacto-yeast extract, 2% bacto-tryptone, 20 mM glucose, 10 mM NaCl, 2.5 mM KCl, 10 mM MgCl2, 10 mM MgSO4).

  • Credit for Experience A. Newly employed teachers will receive the equivalent year's credit for each year of experience. The experience granted will be equal to the FTE experience for each year worked. Any Principal or person charged with the responsibility of evaluation of employees may involve other staff and students in the process if acceptable to the certificated teacher being evaluated.
