Means for Achieving Racial and Ethnic Balance. The Community School will achieve a racial and ethnic balance reflective of the community it serves by abiding by all legal admission policies outlined in Ohio laws. The Community School will be nonsectarian in its programs, admissions policies, employment practices, and all operations; will not charge tuition; and will not discriminate in admission or deny participation in any program or activity on the basis of a person’s sex, race, religion, national origin, ancestry, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, or physical, mental, emotional, or learning disability. The Community School will annually review its demographic data. If a significant difference exists between the racial and ethnic balance of the Community School’s home city and/or district and that of the school, the Governing Authority may take action to address the difference, which may include but not be limited to a review of enrollment and outreach policies and procedures.
