Meal Premiums. (a) Subject to paragraph (b), if a Technician works longer than six (6) hours after his or her call to the set without a Meal Break or longer than six (6) hours after the conclusion of the previous Meal Break, the Producer shall pay a Meal Premium to the Technician at a rate of Five Dollars ($5.00) per fifteen (15) minute period for the duration of the infringement in addition to their regular rate of pay. The Technician will continue to work through the work period at the established rate of pay. The Producer may make a Twenty-Five Dollar ($25.00) per day payment (“buy-out”) on the next regular paycheque to any Driver in lieu of paying second (2nd) Meal Premiums. If the Producer chooses this option, the buy-out shall be paid to that Driver as an allowance on all “shoot days” and shall not apply toward overtime or turnaround premiums.

Meal Premiums. If a Guild Member assigned to the shooting crew works more than six (6) hours without the opportunity for a meal break, the Guild Member shall be paid in addition to any other payments outlined in this Agreement a meal premium of twenty dollars ($20.00).
Meal Premiums. (a) Subject to paragraph (b), if a Technician works longer than six (6) hours after their call to the set without a Meal Break or longer than six (6) hours after the conclusion of the previous Meal Break, the Producer shall pay a Meal Premium to the Technician per the following scale until such time as the meal period is forthcoming: 1) First 2/10 (0.2) of an hour: no penalty, but shall not be scheduled or abused; 2) Next one (1) hour: Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($2.50) for each 1/10 (0.1) hour increment; and 3) thereafter: Three Dollars ($3.00) for each 1/10 (0.1) hour increment. The Technician will continue to work through the work period at the established rate of pay. The Producer may make a Twenty-Five Dollar ($25.00) per day payment (“buy-out”) on the next regular paycheque to any Driver in lieu of paying second (2nd) Meal Premiums.   • Shift Premiums (a) Evening/Night Premium Employees working an evening or night shift where the major portion of hours worked fall within the hours of 1500 and 0800 hours, shall be paid at their regular hourly rate plus a shift premium of $2.10 ($2.75 effective July 1, 2015) per hour for all hours worked.

Shift premium pay shall not be added to an employee’s hourly rate for the purpose of computing overtime. This clause shall not result in duplication of premiums.

  • Night Premium For all time worked by employees, after 7 p.m. and before 7 a.m., by employees hired on or before August 5, 2005, a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour shall be paid.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Uniform Maintenance Allowance 22.1 The City provides uniforms or uniform allowance for employees represented by the Association. The City will continue to replace, repair and maintain uniforms worn in the line of duty. The average cost of the uniforms/uniform allowances are reported as special compensation (for those employees defined as “classic employees” by the Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act of 2013 for retirement calculation purposes and is currently reported as $17 per pay period.

  • Shift Premium Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety-five cents (95c/ ) per hour for each hour worked between 1500 hours and 0700 hours provided that such hours exceed two (2) hours if worked in conjunction with the day shift.
