Maximum Allowable Compensation. The salary schedules in effect for the duration of this Agreement will reflect the maximum allowed by the State while allowing the District to comply with state compensation laws. Should the State fund a salary increase for teachers using a method fundamentally different than that used in the past, the parties will meet to discuss how such funds shall be applied consistent with state laws.
