Common use of Maternity Clause in Contracts

Maternity. A) An employee who is currently employed and has been employed for at least thirteen (13) weeks in the fifty-two (52) weeks immediately preceding the leave and who makes application at least one (1) month in advance of the estimated date of confinement and provides a medical certificate certifying she is pregnant shall be granted leave consisting of a period up to and including twenty-four (24) calendar months subject to the following conditions:
