Maternal Leave. 4.37 An employee who is entitled to paid leave in accordance with the Maternity Leave Act may take up to an additional 2 weeks paid maternal leave which is to be taken at the end of and continuous with the 12 weeks of paid maternity leave provided for by the Maternity Leave Act.
Maternal Leave. Parental/Maternal Leave will be granted according to the Employment Standards Act of Ontario. Seniority shall accumulate during such Leave of Absence.

  • Paternal Leave 19.1 For absence occasioned by the birth or adoption of a son or daughter, the Employer shall grant, upon written request, a leave of absence without loss of salary for a period not exceeding two (2) days. This leave shall be granted on the following days: the date of birth, the day of hospital release or when the child comes into the care and custody of the parents.
