Material characteristics. 2.3.2.1. The back plate shall consist of a 3 mm aluminium sheet. The back plate shall be manufactured from aluminium of series AlMg2 to AlMg3 with hardness between 50 and 65 HBS. This plate shall be perforated with holes for ventilation: the location, the diameter and pitch are shown in Figures 5 and 7.
Material characteristics. 2.2.2.1. The front plates are manufactured from aluminium of series AlMg2 to AlMg3 with elongation ≥ 12 per cent, and a UTS ≥ 175 N/mm2.
Material characteristics. Rock Mass Because all rock masses are more-or-less fractured, choosing the ‘best’ analysis approach has important implications for the design of stable underground openings. Although general guidelines (e.g., Xxxx and Brown9) exist for determining whether it is reasonable to characterize a rock mass as a continuum or discontinuum, the choice should be decided based on the prevailing rock mass conditions and the configuration of the underground (FLAC-ish). Table I summarizes the material parameters used for the M-C and S-S models, while Figure 2 shows a schematic of the stress-strain relations used for the S-S models. Rock Bolts and Shotcrete The rock bolts were modeled using FLAC’s bolt structural elements. These are 1D elements of elastic-perfectly- plastic response that also allow for bond failure between the bolts and the rock. Table II lists the rock bolt parameters used in these analyses. The shotcrete was modeled using FLAC’s beam structural element, and modified to include the nonlinear response associated with local failure from the combined axial and flexural loads in Eq. 4:
Material characteristics. 2.2.2.1. The front plates are manufactured from aluminium of series AlMg2 to AlMg3 with elongation  12 per cent, and a UTS  175 N/mm2. The material of the impactor must be an aluminium honeycomb. Other materials can be used if equal results as described in paragraph 2.3. have been proved to the satisfaction of the Technical Service. In any case the type of impactor must be indicated in the test report.

  • Characteristics The Initial Contracts have the following characteristics: (i) all the Contracts are secured by Motorcycles; (ii) no Initial Contract has a remaining maturity of more than 84 months; and (iii) the final scheduled payment on the Initial Contract with the latest maturity is due not later than June 2014. Approximately 79.20% of the Principal Balance of the Initial Contracts as of the Initial Cutoff Date is attributable to loans for purchases of new Motorcycles and approximately 20.80% is attributable to loans for purchases of used Motorcycles. No Initial Contract was originated after the Initial Cutoff Date. No Initial Contract has a Contract Rate less than 3.899%. The last scheduled payment date of the Contracts (including any Subsequent Contracts) is due not later than September 2014. Approximately 99.02% of the Principal Balance of the Initial Contracts as of the Initial Cutoff Date is attributable to loans to purchase Motorcycles manufactured by Harley-Davidson or Buell and approximately 0.98% of the Principal Balance of the Initial Contracts as of the Initial Cutoff Date is attributable to loans to purchase Motorcycles not manufactured by Harley-Davidson or Buell.

  • Physical File Characteristics 6.2.1 The Optional Daily Usage File will be distributed to <<customer_name>> via an agreed medium with CONNECT:Direct being the preferred transport method. The Daily Usage Feed will be a variable block format (2476) with an LRECL of 2472. The data on the Daily Usage Feed will be in a non-compacted EMI format (175 byte format plus modules). It will be created on a daily basis (Monday through Friday except holidays). Details such as dataset name and delivery schedule will be addressed during negotiations of the distribution medium. There will be a maximum of one dataset per workday per OCN.

  • Quality All products will be new and unused. All products provided by the Contractor must meet all federal, state, and local standards for quality and safety requirements. Products not meeting the requirements of this section will be deemed unacceptable and returned to the Contractor for credit at no charge to the State.

  • Status Reports The Grantee shall submit status reports quarterly, unless otherwise specified in the Attachments, on Exhibit A, Progress Report Form, to Department’s Grant Manager describing the work performed during the reporting period, problems encountered, problem resolutions, scheduled updates, and proposed work for the next reporting period. Quarterly status reports are due no later than twenty (20) days following the completion of the quarterly reporting period. For the purposes of this reporting requirement, the quarterly reporting periods end on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31. The Department will review the required reports submitted by Grantee within thirty (30) days.
