Master Thesis. The programme will end with the dissertation of a Master Thesis. The presentation and the dissertation should be done compulsorily in two languages of the European Union
Master Thesis. All Students are required to complete a Master Thesis. The Parties will instruct supervisors to organize the process in such a way that the total net workload for successful completing the Master Thesis will not exceed 30 ECTS corresponding to six (6) months. The recognition of a Master Thesis which was approved by another university (outside of this joint study programme) is prohibited by the Austrian and Slovak laws. The topic of the Master Thesis is to be specified within the scope of the Physics of the Earth Programme.
Master Thesis. The Master Thesis is a cornerstone of the Programme. It is designed to allow the Student to bridge “academic” experience, the knowledge and skills developed during the first 3 semesters with a first-hand work experience.
Master Thesis. After returning to their home university, students continue their research work and finalise their master thesis. The master thesis has to be written under the joint supervision of both universities and has to be defended in front of an examination committee. Outcomes of the students’ research work at the partner university shall be included in their Master thesis. These deliverables have to be specified as being gained at the partner university. The master thesis has to be submitted in English on schedule at the students’ home university. One copy of the master thesis has to be provided for each supervisor at JLU and at ES-OU. The outcomes of the master thesis have to be defended in English in front of an examination committee. The supervisor of the partner university has to be enabled to participate in the committee (in person or via internet).

Master Thesis. 6.2.1. Master Thesis shall be written in English.
Master Thesis. The student-trainee agrees to use the data made available by company only within the framework of his/her master's thesis activities and not to make them available to third parties without the permission of the company. The student-trainee retains the right to reproduce the results and conclusions of his/her master's thesis work to be used and made public in the context of his/her master's thesis, with the exception of confidential information of the company or individual data made available by the company. In case the student-trainee would like to publish certain data within the framework of his/her Master's thesis, the student-trainee has to seek permission from the company. If desired, the student-trainee and the company will make arrangements regarding a public and private version of the Master's thesis. By way of example, a public version may consist of a literature study and a general conclusion that does not contain individual data and a private version may contain the specific individual data (analysis).
Master Thesis. For Iuav students, the final thesis must be written and defended in English or Italian language. In the latter case, it is necessary for Iuav students to write an abstract in English. For Tongji students, the final thesis must be written in English and Chinese. All students will produce a final thesis in English that will be co-supervised by faculty members from both universities
Master Thesis. Participants will be expected to develop a thesis, subject to the following conditions.
Master Thesis. The master thesis is expected to be written by the participants of Dual Degree "Master in Chemical Sciences" (at UNIPG) and "Master of Science in Chemistry" at the end of 2nd year of the program at both Universities. Students will have two thesis supervisors, one from each institution. Supervisors will be identified at the outset of the program with guidance from the program coordinators. The thesis must be written in English on the agreed topic in the student's specialization area. It must be accepted either by one advisor and /or the program coordinator from both institutions. The master thesis is graded by respective examination diploma boards at the home institution according to the respective regulations.
