Master Police Officer. The University agrees to establish an internal title of Master Police Officer (MPO) for which members in the bargaining unit will be assigned upon meeting all of the eligibility requirements as outlined in this Article.
Master Police Officer. If an officer passes a non-competitive examination given annually on May 1st (unless May 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, at which point it will be administered on the subsequent Monday), and on each May 1st thereafter (subject to the same date change if falling on a weekend or holiday), and if the officer meets other eligibility requirements specified in Article 6 (“Master Police Officer”) of this MOU, he/she will be eligible for a six percent (6%) increase effective July 1st .

Master Police Officer. Terrorism Advisor Effective September 19, 2009, an employee assigned as Master Police Officer – Terrorism Advisor (CCR § 571(a)(1)) shall receive a five percent (5%) premium in addition to his/her base rate of pay. Master Police Officers assigned to patrol will assist patrol officers training in the identification and recognition of terrorism cells. Master Police Officer. An Officer who attains and maintains the designation of Master Police Officer shall receive an annual base salary of $71,518, or an additional 7% pay differential to the base salary, if the current base salary is below $71,518, until full implementation of the pay scale. The standards for the designation of Master Police Officer will be developed by the Police Chief and based upon measurable standards and skills including, but not limited to academic, leadership, trainer, professional development, physical fitness and experience. The appointment or removal of Master Police Officer status and shift assignment is at the sole discretion of the Police Chief. LIMITED DUTY Employees who through injury or illness are unable to perform their assignments, may, for a temporary period, be assigned to duties consistent with their physical condition. Master Police Officer. 5% increase in base pay based on departmental Standard Operating Procedure# 068. The FOP and City Bargaining Teams agree that this SOP should be reviewed by the Labor Management Committee. Members receiving five percent (5%) for Master Police Officer will not be eligible to receive pay for working in a higher classification.
