Mass Transit Trainer. No mass transit operator shall be required to serve as an new employee trainer or route familiarization trainer. However, drivers desiring to instruct students shall place their names on a sign-up sheet. Shop Employee Trainer. No shop employee shall be required to serve as an instructor, however, qualified shop employees desiring to instruct trainees shall place their names on a sign-up sheet. When selected for instructor duties, such employees will be paid Seventy-Five Cents (75¢) per hour upon proper completion and submission to the Employer of evaluation reports consistent with the shop training program. Only those training programs that have been mutually agreed upon and properly documented by the parties will be eligible for instructor pay. The Employer will continue to work with the shop training committee to create authorized training programs.

  • Transit Traffic The following rates will apply:

  • Tandem Transit Traffic 12.1 As used in this Section, Tandem Transit Traffic is Telephone Exchange Service traffic that originates on CBB's network, and is transported through Verizon’s Tandem to the subtending End Office or its equivalent of another carrier (CLEC, ILEC other than Verizon, Commercial Mobile Radio Service (CMRS) carrier, or other LEC (“Other Carrier”). Neither the originating nor terminating customer is a Customer of Verizon. Subtending End Offices shall be determined in accordance with and as identified in the Local Exchange Routing Guide (LERG).   • Cross Training (a) The parties recognize the importance of cross training to ensure that employees are properly trained for backup and for promotions. When the Employer identifies a cross training opportunity the Employer shall provide each regular employee written notification of the cross training opportunity in following with 6.02(a). The Employer undertakes to cross train employees on the basis of seniority and the ability to do the job within a reasonable period of time.

  • Child Rearing Teachers shall be granted a leave for child rearing purposes of up to one (1) year without pay or increment. This includes both adoption and birth. Upon written request, such leave may be extended up to one (1) year without pay or increment.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Excess Travelling Time As well as the above-mentioned Fares allowance, excess travelling time is payable if the work site is beyond 50 kilometres from the workshop or registered office. Where an employee is required to travel to a job site outside the 50 kilometres from the Employer’s registered office or depot the employee will be paid the following: • A payment for time travelled in excess of the 50 kilometres with a minimum payment of a quarter of an hour. The rate will be: – Ordinary time Monday to Friday – Time and one half on Saturday and Sunday – Double time on public holidays • It is agreed between the parties that travel for the purposes of clause

  • Direct Trunked Transport 7.3.2.1 Either Party may elect to purchase direct trunked transport from the other Party.

  • Classroom Management The certificated classroom teacher demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of knowledge and skill in organizing the physical and human elements in the educational setting.

  • Cell Phone Employee shall be provided with a cell phone, with e-mail capabilities, at Board expense. As a condition of receipt of said cell phone, employee is expected to be reachable as necessary and appropriate by the Superintendent and Board President for the thorough and efficient operation of the School District. Incidental personal use shall be permitted. Employees shall have the option of being reimbursed for the use of a personal smartphone in the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00) per month instead of accepting a district cell phone. As a condition of this reimbursement, employee must a) be reasonably available at all times via the personal phone; and b) take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of student and staff information being transmitted to and through said phone.
