Maryland Residents. To the extent, if any, that Maryland law applies to Your Account, We elect to offer Your Card Account pursuant to Title 12, Subtitle 9 of the Maryland Commercial Law Article.
Maryland Residents. A participant may cancel the contract for any reason with- in 3 months after the date of receipt of goods or services first ordered; upon cancellation, the Company shall repurchase the goods; and the repurchase price shall be at least 90% of the original price paid by the partici- pant.
Maryland Residents. Any person who knowingly or willfully presents a false or fraudulent claim for payment of a loss or benefit or who knowingly or willfully presents false information in an application for insurance is guilty of a crime and may be subject to fines and confinement in prison.

If you are a Maryland resident as of the date you accept this Agreement, as evidenced by your billing address, to the extent, if any, that Maryland law applies to this Agreement and your Account and is not preempted by federal law, we elect to offer your credit account under Subtitle 9 (Credit Grantor Open End Credit Provisions) of Title 12 of the Maryland Commercial Law Article.
Maryland Residents. The expiration date of the Plan is automatically extended until we have performed services under the Plan. We shall provider service under the Plan within a reasonable period of time and we will provide on your request a brief written explanation of the reasons for any delay.

The Securities which are the subject of this offering memorandum have not been registered under the Maryland Securities Act in reliance upon the exemption in section 11-602(9) of such act. Unless these Securities are registered, they may not be re-offered for sale or resold in the State of Maryland, except as security, or in a transaction exempt under such Act.

If You prevail in any action, suit or proceeding we bring or in an action You bring in connection with this Cardholder Agreement, reasonable attorneys’ fees shall be awarded to You. If You successfully assert a pertinent defense, set off, recoupment or counterclaim to an action brought by us, the court may withhold from us the entire amount or such portion of the attorneys’ fees as the court deems appropriate.
