Map Accuracy Standard. The State’s map accuracy standard is Class 1 of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Specifications and Standards Committee Standards for Large-Scale Maps (ASPRS 1990). The State’s map accuracy standard allows production of photogrammetrically derived maps to adhere to the Class 1 ASPRS standard without the necessity of a field check provided the proper equipment and procedures are used.
