Manager on Duty. Relief of a member of Store Management by a member of the bargaining unit shall be on a voluntary basis. Any employee interested or not interested may place their request in writing to the Store Manager with a copy to the Union, District Manager, and Human Resources. The employee shall be required to have completed a Manager on Duty (MOD) training program.

Manager on Duty. PPDA will have a Manager on Duty working during your event. This person will be your point of contact for any needs that you might have, will be knowledgeable about the support requirements agreed to in this agreement, and has the authority to make decisions on behalf of PPDA.

  • Injured on Duty 33.1 Employees prevented from completing a shift due to a bona fide injury sustained while on duty will be paid for the full shift at straight time rates of pay, unless they receive Worker’s Compensation benefits for the day of the injury in which case the employees will be paid the difference between such compensation and payment for their full shift.

  • Injury on Duty Any unit employee who suffers an injury while working during the course of his/her employment for the County shall be entitled to injury leave until said employee is able to return to work or is terminated in any manner and subject to any limitations imposed by this Article or State Law. Injury means a sudden and tangible happening of a traumatic nature, producing an immediate or prompt result and resulting from external force, including injuries to artificial members. Any injury sustained by an employee while engaging in an athletic or social event sponsored by the employer shall be deemed not to have arisen out of or in the course of employment unless the employee received remuneration for participating in such event. For purposes of this Article, coronary thrombosis, coronary occlusion, or any other ailment or disorder of the heart, and any death or disability ensuing therefrom, shall not be deemed to be an injury by accident sustained arising out of and in the course of the employment except for Sheriff employees who are covered by state statutes.

  • Extra Duty A. All extra duty vacancies listed in Article 29 (except as provided in 7-8-C) shall be filled by MBUs, providing they meet the following criteria.

  • COOPERATION ON FRAUD 25.1. The Parties agree that they shall cooperate with one another to investigate, minimize and take corrective action in cases of fraud.   • Civic Duty Whenever an employee is served with a subpoena by a court of competent jurisdiction which compels his/her presence as a witness during his/her normal working period, unless he/she is a party to the litigation or an expert witness, such employee shall be granted time off with pay in the amount of the difference between the employee's regular earnings and any amount he/she receives for such appearance. This Article is not applicable to appearances for which the employee receives compensation in excess of his/her regular earnings. A court of competent jurisdiction is defined as a court within the County in which the employee resides or if outside the county of residence, the place of appearance must be within 150 miles of the employee's residence.

  • PERFORMANCE OF DUTY 23.1 The Employer and the Union acknowledge that this Agreement provides, through the Grievance Procedure contained therein, for an orderly settlement of grievances or disputes which may arise between the parties. Accordingly, the parties agree that the public interest requires the uninterrupted performance of all University services and to this end pledge to prevent or eliminate any conduct contrary to that objective.   • Conflict of Interest; Governmental Conduct Act A. The Contractor represents and warrants that it presently has no interest and, during the term of this Agreement, shall not acquire any interest, direct or indirect, which would conflict in any manner or degree with the performance or services required under the Agreement.

  • Conflict of Interest Contractor Personnel 2.5.1 The A-E shall exercise reasonable care and diligence to prevent any actions or conditions that could result in a conflict with the best interests of the COUNTY. This obligation shall apply to the A-E; the A-E’s employees, agents, and relatives; sub-tier contractors; and third parties associated with accomplishing work and PROJECTS/SERVICES hereunder.

  • Cooperation of Parties The Parties to this Agreement agree to cooperate in good faith to prepare and execute all documents, to seek Court approval, defend Court approval, and to do all things reasonably necessary to complete and effectuate the Settlement described in this Agreement.
