DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of: • Modern cleaning methods, and the use and care of cleaning materials and equipment • Requirements for maintaining school buildings and grounds in a safe, clean, and orderly condition. • Pass the physical fitness test including strength assessment Ability to: • Use cleaning materials and equipment with skill and efficiency • Perform heavy physical labor • Set up a work schedule and direct efforts of others in following same. EXPERIENCE: • Two years of experience in custodial work. EDUCATION: • High School Diploma. • Basic computer literacy. HEAD CUSTODIAN - INTERMEDIATE Range 24 12 months - Classified 1.0 FTE, 8 hrs/day PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under general supervision of the Principal to plan, assign, supervise and personally perform routine cleaning work in school, office and other buildings of the district; and to do related work as required.
