Lunch Periods. All employees covered by this Agreement shall be entitled to an uninterrupted lunch period after the employee has been on duty for four (4) hours. The length of time for such lunch period shall be for a period of no longer than one (1) hour nor less than one- half (1/2) hour and shall be scheduled for full-time employees at or about the mid-point of each work shift. An employee required to work during his/her lunch period shall receive compensation at the appropriate rate of pay as determined in this Agreement for all time worked during the normal lunch period.
Lunch Periods. All employees working five (5) hours or more per day shall be entitled to an unpaid lunch period of not less than one-half (1/2) hour. Lunch periods will be scheduled by the District, and when practical, at approximately the midpoint of the work shift.
Lunch Periods. 1. Teachers shall have a daily duty-free lunch period in all schools which shall be a minimum of twenty (20) minutes duration.
Lunch Periods. Every covered employee, who is scheduled to work five (5) or more consecutive hours during a workday, shall receive a lunch period of not less than one half hour nor more than one hour. Such lunch periods shall not be considered working time. However, exceptions to this provision may be made upon mutual agreement of the employee and management.
Lunch Periods. A regular full-time employee shall be granted an unpaid lunch period of not less than thirty (30) minutes nor more than sixty (60) minutes in the approximate middle of each shift.
Lunch Periods. Employees shall have an uninterrupted, 25 minute, duty-free lunch period five (5) days a week
Lunch Periods. The lunch period will be taken as close as possible to midshift but may be varied or staggered for different employees from one (1) hour before to one (1) hour after the middle of the shift according to the needs of the work in progress.
Lunch Periods. Each full-time classroom teacher shall receive a minimum of a thirty (30) minute duty- free lunch period per day. The principal and staff in each building will develop a plan to assure that teachers in each building will receive the full thirty (30) minute period each day.
Lunch Periods. 1. All employees shall be granted a duty-free lunch period during each work shift. Whenever possible, the lunch period shall be scheduled at the middle of each shift.
Lunch Periods. Every teacher in the elementary and secondary school shall be entitled to a daily, duty-free, uninterrupted forty-five (45) minute lunch period; but where the pupils have a regular lunch period of less than forty-five (45) minutes due to modular scheduling, the duty-free period shall coincide with such regular periods of less than forty-five (45) minutes. The above does not preclude the right of individual faculties to shorten the lunch period so long as there is a minimum of three-fourths (3/4) of the faculty in agreement with the arrangements as well as with the appropriate adjustment of the time. The faculty vote will be by secret ballot. However, in no event shall employees have less than a thirty (30) minute duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period unless the students have a regular lunch period of less than thirty (30) minutes, in which case the duty-free period shall be the same as the regular lunch period.
