Lunch Duty. The District will provide a consistent (same number of minutes) duty- free lunch equivalent to the length of the student lunch period for K-5 and 6-8 teachers. It is not intended that duty-free lunch be consistent at each level (K-5, 6- 8, 9-12). Teachers assigned lunch duty at the High School will be provided a free hot lunch.
Lunch Duty. Bargaining unit members shall receive a flat payment of $1,000.00 to compensate for the loss of duty free lunch. This will be based on 180 days and will not exceed 30 minutes per day. Lunch duty assignments of less than 30 minutes will be paid proportionately.
Lunch Duty a. Emergency lunch-duty assignments will be on a rotating basis to those willing to accept this assignment. In the event there are no volunteers, teachers may be assigned on a rotating basis. Teachers who assume emergency lunch responsibilities shall be paid at the rate of $10.00 per hour.
Lunch Duty. Certified teachers will be on a daily or weekly lunch duty rotation set at the discretion of the administration. On the days or weeks that certified teachers do not have lunch duty, the certified teachers will have duty free lunch.
Lunch Duty. Lunch duty will be on a voluntary paid basis at a rate of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per hour except where volunteers are not available. In such cases, lunch duty will be assigned on a rotating paid basis at a rate of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per hour.
Lunch Duty. 1. The District will provide a minimum of twenty-five (25) minutes of duty-free lunch time daily for teachers, or will provide a free school lunch that day to those teachers on duty when twenty-five (25) minutes in not feasible. This lunch is provided for the sole use and benefit of the teachers involved.
Lunch Duty. Every teacher working four (4) hours or more shall be allowed a duty free lunch period as required by Section 24-9 of the Illinois School Code. An effort will be made to schedule this time to start no earlier than a regularly scheduled lunch period for that building. All elementary teachers will be released from all supervisory duties that involve cafeteria, lunch, and recess or playground supervision during the noon hour for the term of the agreement.
Lunch Duty. Lunch period supervision will be a paid position. Teachers who give up their personal plan time or lunch time to serve as a lunch supervisor shall be paid as per Appendix E.
Lunch Duty. 1. Any staff member having duty shall be eligible for one (1) free meal for each lunch duty completed during the school year. A duty is defined as eating lunch in the cafeteria with students and/or hall duty.
