Lost, Stolen, or Lost in Fire. All laptops and accessories which are lost, stolen, or damaged or lost in a fire are NOT covered by the school insurance policy and are the responsibility of the student or student’s parents involved in the loss of property. A police or fire report must be filed by the student, or student’s parents involved in the loss of property. A copy of the report must be brought to the Principal. The user will not be given another laptop to use until the replacement cost of the device is paid to the school district. Fraudulent reporting of theft, loss, or accidental damage by fire will be turned over to the police and the insurance company for prosecution. A student making a false report will also be subject to disciplinary action as outlined by the school discipline code.

  • LOST, STOLEN OR DAMAGED CARDS If the Cardmember loses the Card or if the Card is damaged or stolen or if the PIN became available to any other persons, the Cardmember must immediately inform AEME by telephone. In addition, the Cardmember shall provide AEME with a written notification within 3 days from the date of the occurrence of any of the above listed events, as per applicable laws. To inform AEME by phone, call the number indicated in the Cardmember Additional Information Leaflet. Failure to comply with the provisions of this article will render the Cardmember liable for all Transactions made on his or her lost or stolen Card until the time the Card is reported as lost or stolen to AEME. However, the Cardmember shall at all times be fully liable for all Charges including Cash Withdrawals even if these Charges were made by third parties if these third parties gained possession of the Card or any Supplementary Card or the PIN with the knowledge, permission, approval or other acts of the Cardmember or any Supplementary Cardmember or because of their negligence. If the Card is found after it was reported lost or stolen, the Cardmember may not use or attempt to use the Card at issue and shall immediately inform AEME which will take the appropriate action.

  • Lost Keys a. Lost or broken room keys will result in Resident’s lock being changed. The cost of lock changes and replacement of keys will be charged to Resident’s University account.

  • Lost Keys, Lock Outs The Resident will be responsible for the cost of replacing lost keys (e.g., room key, mailbox key, etc.) at a cost determined by the Manager, to a maximum of $20.00 per key. If the Resident is locked out of the Resident’s Room, the Resident will pay a fee for letting the Resident into the Room, to a maximum of $5.00, or will be provided with a temporary key to be returned immediately after use. Failure to return a temporary card in the time allotted will result in a replacement fee to a maximum of $20.00.

  • Mutilated, Destroyed, Lost or Stolen Residual Certificates If (i) any mutilated Residual Certificate is surrendered to Xxxxxx Xxx or the Certificate Registrar, or (ii) Xxxxxx Mae receives evidence to its satisfaction of the destruction, loss or theft of any Residual Certificate, and there is delivered to Xxxxxx Xxx such security or indemnity as may be required by it to save it harmless, then, in the absence of notice to Xxxxxx Mae that such Residual Certificate has been acquired by a bona fide purchaser, Xxxxxx Xxx shall execute and the Certificate Registrar shall authenticate and make available, in exchange for or in lieu of any such mutilated, destroyed, lost or stolen Residual Certificate, a new Residual Certificate of the appropriate Class. Upon the issuance of any new Residual Certificate under this Section 5.03, Xxxxxx Mae may require the payment of a sum sufficient to cover any tax or other governmental charge that may be imposed in relation thereto and any other expenses (including the fees and expenses of the Certificate Registrar) connected therewith. Any duplicate Residual Certificate issued pursuant to this Section 5.03 shall constitute complete and indefeasible evidence of ownership in the Lower Tier REMIC or the Trust Fund, as the case may be, as if originally issued, whether or not the lost or stolen Residual Certificate shall be found at any time.

  • Liability for loss or damage Subject to the provisions of the Occupiers Liability Act 1957 and the Defective Premises Act 1972, we shall not in any circumstances incur any liability in respect of loss or damage to any person or property or otherwise, unless the loss or damage was caused by our negligence.
