LAY-OFFS The Parties recognize the substantial effort and cost involved in recruiting workers from out of Province to the Project but it is also accepted that workers within the local unions from Alberta expect consideration in terms of job retention on Alberta projects. Work on Day Off Full-time nurses called in on their regularly scheduled day off shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1½x) times the regular rate of pay for the hours worked.
Accrual Rate of Sick Leave With Pay Credits Full-time employees shall accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave with pay credits for each full month worked. Employees who work less than the full month but at least thirty-two (32) hours during the month shall accrue sick leave with pay on a pro rata basis for the month.
