Common use of Loss of Confidential Information Clause in Contracts

Loss of Confidential Information. In the event of any unauthorized disclosure or loss of, or inability to account for, any Confidential Information of the furnishing Party by the Party to whom such information was disclosed, upon becoming aware of such event the receiving Party shall promptly, at its own expense (a) notify the furnishing Party in writing; (b) take such actions as reasonably requested by the furnishing Party, and (c) otherwise cooperate with the furnishing Party to minimize the adverse effects to the furnishing Party of such event and any damage resulting from such event.
