Long Distance Trips. Long distance trips are those dispatched to a point outside the boundaries of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District. Trips shall be posted for and offered to the most senior qualified driver on the rotational basis, starting with the most senior and rotating through the least senior. The rotational list shall renew the first day of each school year. Drivers must meet the following requirements:
Long Distance Trips. (Formerly o) Long distance drivers will rotate on both lists. Within eighteen (18) months of employment, the District shall make available training to all drivers who qualify. Consideration for performance may be justified through documentation. Upon successful completion of the training the drivers shall rotate on driving long distance trips. Drivers shall receive up to two hours of T-01 time for the behind the wheel training with the advanced permission of the Transportation Manager. If a driver is unsuccessful in completing the training, the District shall make the training available the next year.

Verizon will provide this routing arrangement in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement pursuant to an appropriate written request submitted by FTCS and a mutually agreed-upon schedule. This routing arrangement will be implemented at FTCS's expense, with charges determined on an individual case basis. In addition to charges for initially establishing the routing arrangement, FTCS will be responsible for ongoing monthly and/or usage charges for the routing arrangement. FTCS shall arrange, at its own expense, the trunking and other facilities required to transport traffic to FTCS’s selected provider of operator and directory assistance services.
