Lodge Pledge. The Lodge agrees to fairly represent all members subject to Chapter 4117 of the Ohio Revised Code. Subject to the provisions of this Contract, the Lodge, within the terms of its Constitution and By-Laws, agrees not to discriminate against any member on the basis of his/her membership or non-membership in the Lodge as it pertains to representation nor to discriminate, interfere with, restrain or coerce any member because of or regarding the member's activities or non-activities for the Lodge.

Lodge Pledge. The Lodge, within the terms of its Constitution and Bylaws, agrees not to interfere with the desire of any member to become and remain a member of the Lodge or to refrain from Lodge membership. The Lodge agrees to fairly represent all members as required by law.
Lodge Pledge. The parties of this Agreement mutually recognize that the services performed by bargaining unit members are services essential to public order and safety. The Lodge, therefore, agrees that during the term of this Agreement there shall be neither interruption of these services, for any cause whatsoever, by bargaining unit members, nor shall there by any concerted failure by them to report for duty, nor shall they absent themselves from their work, stop work, or abstain in whole or in part from the full, faithful and proper performance of the duties of their employment. The Lodge further agrees that there shall be no strikes, sit-downs, slow-downs, speed-ups, "Blue-Flu", stoppages of work or any acts or other alterations of existing work performance patterns that interfere in any manner or to any degree with the services of the University.
Lodge Pledge. The Lodge shall indemnify the University against any and all claims, demands, suits, or other forms of liability that shall arise out of or by reason of action taken or not taken by the University for the purpose of complying with the provisions of this Article, except for the failure of the University to pay to the Lodge the membership dues properly deducted pursuant to this Article.
