LOCATION OF UNDERGROUND FACILITIES. If the Contractor, for the purpose of responding to this solicitation, requests the location of underground facilities through the Sunshine State One-Call of Florida, Inc. notification system or through any person or entity providing a facility locating service, and underground facilities are marked with paint, stakes or other markings within the City pursuant to such a request, then the Contractor, shall be deemed non-responsive to this solicitation in accordance with Section 2-184(5) of the City of Fort Lauderdale Code of Ordinances.
LOCATION OF UNDERGROUND FACILITIES. The Company may bury its local and through communications facilities such as cables, conduits, manholes and associated equipment, fixtures, process equipment and appurtenances within the right-of-way of the various public streets and ways and at such locations as shall be mutually agreed upon by the Parties for said Company's local and through lines and communications facilities. Underground conduits and associated facilities, as aforementioned, shall be placed at least eighteen (18) inches below the surface of said public streets and ways and with the exception of lateral branches to curb poles and property lines and other A8401 facilities, the same shall generally not be constructed more than ten (10) feet from the curb line, unless obstructions make it necessary to deviate from such course or unless the parties mutually agree to another location. Manholes shall be located at such points along the line of underground conduits as may be necessary or convenient for placing, maintaining, and operating the facilities, as aforementioned, which the Company may from time to time use in connection with its underground conduit system and shall be so constructed as to conform to the cross-sectional and longitudinal grade of the surface so as not to interfere with the convenience of persons or vehicles. §A84-4. Notice required prior to construction of facilities. Before proceeding with any new construction or relocation work in an area covered by this Ordinance, the Company shall give prior notice in writing thereof to the Borough, through its designated representative, of its intention to perform such work. The Company shall obtain such street opening or excavation permits as may be lawfully required by any applicable ordinances regulating such openings or excavations. Any such area affected by the Company in constructing its facilities shall be restored to as good condition as it was before the commencement of work thereon. No public streets or ways shall be encumbered for a period longer than shall be reasonable to execute the work.
LOCATION OF UNDERGROUND FACILITIES. (OFFSITE WORK ONLY) Contractor is required to obtain digging permits prior to start of excavation by contacting the appropriate permitting agencies 15 calendar days in advance. Verify the elevations of existing piping, utilities, and any type of underground obstruction not indicated or specified to be removed but indicated or discovered during scanning in locations to be traversed by piping, ducts, and other work to be installed. Verify elevations before installing new work closer than nearest manhole or other structure at which an adjustment in grade can be made. Perform potholing to confirm location of all the utilities along the construction alignment prior to start of the construction. The Contractor is responsible for all costs associated with these investigations including the cost of equipment, labor and materials required for any confined space entry.

  • Underground Facilities All underground pipelines, conduits, ducts, cables, wires, manholes, vaults, tanks, tunnels, or other such facilities or attachments, and any encasements containing such facilities, including without limitation those that convey electricity, gases, steam, liquid petroleum products, telephone or other communications, cable television, water, wastewater, storm water, other liquids or chemicals, or traffic or other control systems.

  • Office Facilities During the Employment Period, the Company will furnish Executive, without charge, suitable office facilities for the purpose of performing his duties hereunder, which facilities shall include secretarial, telephone, clerical and support personnel and services and shall be similar to those furnished to employees of the Company having comparable positions.

  • UNDERGROUND LOCATIONS Prior to the Company commencing any work the Customer must advise the Company of the precise location of all underground services on the site and clearly xxxx the location. The underground mains and services the Customer must identify include, but are not limited to, telephone cables, fibre optic cables, electrical services, gas services, sewer services, pumping services, sewer connections, sewer sludge mains, water mains, irrigations pipes, oil pumping mains and any other services that may be on site. Whilst the Company will take all care to avoid damage to any underground services the Customer agrees to indemnify the Company in respect of all any liability claims, loss, damage, cost and fines as a result of damage to services not precisely located and notified pursuant to this clause.

  • Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities Construction The Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities shall be designed and constructed in accordance with Good Utility Practice. Within one hundred twenty (120) Calendar Days after the Commercial Operation Date, unless the Participating TO and Interconnection Customer agree on another mutually acceptable deadline, the Interconnection Customer shall deliver to the Participating TO and CAISO “as-built” drawings, information and documents for the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities and the Electric Generating Unit(s), such as: a one-line diagram, a site plan showing the Large Generating Facility and the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities, plan and elevation drawings showing the layout of the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities, a relay functional diagram, relaying AC and DC schematic wiring diagrams and relay settings for all facilities associated with the Interconnection Customer's step-up transformers, the facilities connecting the Large Generating Facility to the step-up transformers and the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities, and the impedances (determined by factory tests) for the associated step-up transformers and the Electric Generating Units. The Interconnection Customer shall provide the Participating TO and the CAISO specifications for the excitation system, automatic voltage regulator, Large Generating Facility control and protection settings, transformer tap settings, and communications, if applicable. Any deviations from the relay settings, machine specifications, and other specifications originally submitted by the Interconnection Customer shall be assessed by the Participating TO and the CAISO pursuant to the appropriate provisions of this LGIA and the LGIP.
