Local Negotiating Committee. (a) A negotiating committee of four (4) employee representatives appointed by the union including the bargaining unit president.
Local Negotiating Committee. (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize (as defined in the local provisions under L9) number of Negotiating Committee members as outlined in the local appendix to represent their respective bargaining units. This committee shall be comprised of the unit chairperson in addition to (as defined in the local provisions under L9) number of committee members to be elected or appointed from amongst employees in the Bargaining Unit who have completed their probationary period.
Local Negotiating Committee. The Hospital agrees to recognize a Local Negotiating Committee which shall have two (2) members. This committee shall be comprised of the unit chairperson and one (1) additional committee member to be elected or appointed from amongst employees in the bargaining unit who have completed their probationary period.
Local Negotiating Committee. (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize a Negotiating Committee comprising of members to be elected, or appointed from amongst employees in the bargaining unit, who have completed their probationary period. Where the Hospital participates in Central bargaining, the purpose of the Negotiating Committee shall be to negotiate local issues as defined. Where the Hospital does not participate in joint bargaining, the purpose of the Negotiating Committee shall be to negotiate a renewal of this Collective Agreement. The Hospital agrees that the members of the Negotiating Committee shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during their regular scheduled working hours in attending such negotiating meetings with the Hospitalup to, but not including arbitration. Nothing in this provision is intended to the Union negotiating committee from having the assistance of any representatives of the Union when negotiating with the Hospital. The number of employees on the local negotiating committee shall be determined locally.

Local Negotiating Committee. (a) The local negotiating committee shall be comprised of two (2) Unit Chairpersons or one Unit Chair and one assistant unit chair from the Sault Area Hospital, Service Unit, in addition to three (3) committee members.

The number of union committee members will be as set out in the Local Provisions Appendix of this agreement.

A representative from the CAW may also be present to assist if required.

Where the Hospital participates in central bargaining, the purpose of the Negotiating Committee shall be to negotiate local issues as defined. Where the Hospital does not participate in central bargaining, the purpose of the Negotiating Committee shall be to negotiate a renewal of this Collective Agreement. Nothing in this provision is intended to preclude the Union Negotiating Committee from having the assistance of any representatives of the Union when negotiating with the Hospital. The Union has the right to elect or otherwise select a Negotiating Committee consisting of four representatives: one to represent Nursing one to represent Dietary one to represent Housekeeping, Maintenance and Stores one to represent Ambulance Attendants. A general representative of Local may attend negotiating meetings. Labour-Management Committee Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall An equal number of representatives of each party, not exceeding 4 members from the combined full-time and par-t-time units and 4 members from the Hospital, shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. It is agreed that not more than 1 employee per department will be allowed to attend. Any representative(s) attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance.
