Local Association Officers. Local Association Officers will be excused from teaching duties to attend official Association meetings called specifically for officers of local Associations.

Local Association Officers. 4.2.3.1 The PSTA shall be granted up to forty (40) days paid leave per school year to carry out the business pertaining to the PSTA. Authorization for such days shall be made by the PSTA President or designate.
Local Association Officers. The President(s) of the Educational Support Professionals’ Association shall be allowed ten (10) days per year for the purpose of release time to attend to Association business. The ESP President(s) may use these hours at his/her discretion subject to the prior approval of the immediate supervisor, which shall not be unreasonably denied. The Association shall pay half of the cost of any release hours; the District will pay the other half.

  • Union Officers Employees hereafter elected or appointed to full­ time Union office shall be granted a leave of absence without loss of sen­ iority but without accumulating seniority during the period of the leave of absence.

  • Association President The President of the Association has the right to visit schools. The President will coordinate the visits with the offices of the principals in order to facilitate the purpose of this visit. Visits that are made to solve special problems of teachers will be arranged in advance by notifying the office of the principal.

  • Union Officers and Committee Members Union Officers and Committee Members shall be entitled to leave their work during working hours in order to carry out their functions under this Agreement, including, but not limited to, the investigation and processing of grievances, attendance at meetings with the Employer, participation in negotiations and arbitration. Permission to leave work during working hours for such purposes shall first be obtained from the immediate supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. All time spent in performing such Union duties, including work performed on various committees, as referred to in this Agreement, shall be considered as time worked.

  • Data Protection Officer 10.1 The Data Processor will appoint a Data Protection Officer where such appointment is required by Data Protection Laws and Regulations.

  • Union Officials 1. The Union will notify the Company in writing of the election, appointment, or removal of Union shop xxxxxxx(s). The District Lodge will notify the Company in writing of the Committee members at that location.

  • Union Office Upon application by the Union, in writing, the Hospital will give reasonable consideration to a request for leave of absence, without pay, to an employee elected or appointed to full-time Union office. It is understood that not more than one (1) employee in the bargaining unit may be on such leave at the same time. Such leave, if granted, shall be for a period of one (1) calendar year (in the case of the Union President, two (2) calendar years) from the date of appointment unless extended for a further specific period by agreement of the parties. Seniority and service shall accumulate during such leave to the maximum provided, if any, under the provisions of the Collective Agreement. It will become the responsibility of the employee for full payment of any applicable benefits in which the employee is participating during such leave of absence.

  • Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Association Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Association, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement.

  • Security Officers a) All Security officers must be registered with PSIRA grade C and above.

  • Other Officers Such other officers as the Board of Directors may choose shall perform such duties and have such powers as from time to time may be assigned to them by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors may delegate to any other officer of the Corporation the power to choose such other officers and to prescribe their respective duties and powers.

  • Union Office Space The Employer will provide an office not less than twelve (12) square meters in size.
