Line-of-Duty Leave. A. The President or appropriate administrator may authorize an employee to be temporarily absent from regular duties and/or home campus or division for the purpose of representing the College or performing services for the College. The employee must submit a written request form with reason for leave and attach detailed information, such as hotel occupancy, travel method, meals, etc.

  • Court Duty Leave Any teacher who is called for jury duty or is a subpoenaed court witness shall receive a leave of absence to fulfill his/her civil obligation.   • Volunteer Firefighting Leave Leave without pay will be granted when an employee who is a volunteer firefighter is called to duty to respond to a fire, natural disaster or medical emergency.
