Common use of Limitation on Awards Clause in Contracts

Limitation on Awards. Except for breaches of Article 6 hereof, the arbitrators shall have no authority to award any special, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, exemplary or other similar damages. Each Party shall bear its own costs and expenses (including attorneys’ fees and expert or consulting fees) incurred in connection with the arbitration. The Parties shall equally (50/50) share the arbitrators’ fees and other administrative costs and expenses associated with the arbitration.
