Lieu Bank. 9.03(a) Subject to there being mutual agreement between the employee and the Division Head an employee may receive compensation for overtime worked in the form of time off in lieu of pay, at the rate of one and one-half (1 ½) hours off for each hour of overtime worked provided that the lieu time accumulated for both overtime work and work on designated holidays as provided in Article 10, does not exceed 96 hours at any one time. The ninety-six (96) hours is replenishable.

Lieu Bank a) After offering overtime to members of the full-time bargaining unit, overtime shall normally be on a voluntary basis. It shall be offered in order of seniority, to those who normally perform the work in the work location concerned. In the event that there are not sufficient numbers of employees who accept overtime, the employer may assign persons to overtime in the reverse order of seniority to those employees who normally perform the work in the work location concerned. An employee may request to have accumulated lieu time paid out at any time during the year, provided that on each occasion the employee shall make the request in writing to supervisor or designate at least three (3) calendar weeks prior to the pay date on which they are requesting the lieu time to be paid. Lieu Bank. This bank was intended to be capped at one hundred forty- four (144) hours and exhausted within one (1) year. Employees will be given the equivalent time off (subject to Manager’s approval) however an Employee may initiate a payout if so desired. Any hours accrued in excess of one hundred forty- four (144) hours will automatically be paid out. • When eligible Employees move to a non-eligible position, any banked lieu hours will automatically be paid out.
Lieu Bank. Full-time employees working on a General Holiday will be credited with one paid full shift in their lieu time bank. Lieu time credits not used shall be paid out at the basic hourly rate of pay for each hour banked at the end of the Employer's fiscal year. The total accrual of credits will be indicated on the employees pay statement.
