License to Publish Sample Clauses

License to Publish. The Author grants to the Publisher the non-exclusive, worldwide license to publish the Work in both print and all electronic formats. The Author retains sole and exclusive worldwide copyright and all rights including moral rights to the Work in all formats and editions. ISBNs will be assigned by the Publisher for all editions of the Work to enable the Author’s book to be sold by the book trade worldwide. This license is for a period of seven years unless terminated by either party giving six months notice to do so.

License to Publish. The Author hereby grants to the Journal a royalty-free, worldwide nonexclusive license to publish, reproduce, display, distribute, and use the Article in any form, either separately or as part of a collective work, including but not limited to a nonexclusive license to publish the Article in an issue of the Journal, copy and distribute individual reprints of the Article, authorize reproduction of the entire Article in another publication, and authorize reproduction and distribution of the Article or an abstract thereof by means of computerized retrieval systems. The Author retains ownership of all rights under copyright in the Article, and all rights not expressly granted in this Agreement.
License to Publish. In consideration of the review, acceptance, and publication of the Article (including but not limited to text, figures, tables, audio and video content, artwork, abstracts, and supplemental material submitted with the Article) in the journal indicated above, the Author hereby grants to the Publishers an irrevocable nonexclusive license to (a) publish, reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, and store the Article in all forms and media, now known or later developed, (b) translate the Article into other languages, create adaptations, summaries, or extracts of the Article or other derivatives based on it and exercise all of the rights set forth in (a) above in such translations, adaptations, summaries, extracts and derivative works; and (c) license others to do any or all of the above. The Author will receive no royalty or other monetary compensation from the Publishers. In the event that the Publishers do not publish the Article within one year of the date shown above, this license shall be canceled.
License to Publish. In consideration of the payments hereinafter mentioned the Author, and any collaborators, assign to the Publisher rights to produce or reproduce the Work (or any expansion or abridgement of the Work or any part of the Work) in the English language, in all forms physical, audio, electronic, and all editions throughout the world for the full legal term of copyright.

License to Publish. Notwithstanding paragraph 4 above, I understand that if I am the author of a dissertation or other work of academic authorship, such as an article for publication in a scholarly or professional journal, that incorporates work product, data, research, or other tangible or intangible materials used or developed as a result of the Design Project, I will be entitled to a license to publish the dissertation or other work of authorship. I agree that, in the event a dissertation or other work of authorship contains proprietary information of NC State other person or entity legally asserting ownership thereto under agreement with NC State, I will remove the proprietary information or refrain from publishing such dissertation or other work of authorship for a period of time not to exceed six (6) months after receiving notice that NC State or other person or entity legally asserting ownership thereto wishes to pursue intellectual property protection, so that intellectual property protection may be obtained.
