Library Media Specialist. A separate four-tiered evaluation framework, based upon Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx’x Framework for Library Media Specialists (LMS) will be utilized for the evaluation of LMS’s. An evaluation system that mirrors that of classroom teachers has been established to facilitate practice focused conversations between the LMS and their evaluator. There are some key differences between the evaluation of LMS’s and classroom teachers, otherwise, an LMS evaluation cycle and timelines are the same as a classroom teacher cycle described in Section 9.04. These differences are:
Library Media Specialist. The evaluative procedure and criteria shall be distributed and explained to all certificated employees at the building level by October 15 of each year or when an employee is assigned to a building. Each employee shall have access through the electronic system appropriate to the teacher’s position and track in the evaluation cycle.
Library Media Specialist. The Library Media Specialist shall be appointed by the appointing authority and shall serve in the position in accordance with the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Said appointment shall be for a school year as defined for the professional faculty. Duties and responsibilities of the Library Media Specialist shall include those normally associated with the position and that of a media-specialist. Nothing herein shall exclude the Library Media Specialist from taking on assignments directed by the Superintendent or his designee, namely the Assistant Superintendent-Director and the Academic Coordinator. The daily work schedule for the Library Media Specialist shall commence at 7:30 a.m. and conclude at 2:30 p.m. on Monday; 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday and 2:15 p.m. on Friday provided, that the Library Media Specialist shall not leave prior to the departure of the last bus and with the understanding that the work day may be altered (but not increased) by ten (10) minutes, earlier or later, to accommodate student bus transportation. The Library Media Specialist who is requested by the Superintendent to provide student related services after 3:00 p.m. on school days or any time on a non-school day will be compensated at the same hourly rate as instructors in the Intermittent Services Salary Schedule. Annual compensation for services shall be paid in accordance with the Professional Teacher Salary Schedule.
Library Media Specialist. 1. The library media specialist in each elementary school shall have minimum of one (1) library media period per week, free of other assignments, for each twenty-five (25) teachers, or fraction thereof, to a maximum of five (5) media periods a week.
Library Media Specialist. Per diem payment for up to the five (5) days required before the beginning of the teacher work year and for up to five (5) days required following the end of the teacher work year. These days shall be mutually scheduled between the library/media specialist and the principal.

Library Media Specialists will be evaluated at least once every six (6) years on a comprehensive holistic final evaluation. This comprehensive evaluation will be rated based upon evidence contributed by the evaluator and the LMS in four evaluation domains. On years when the LMS is not evaluated on a comprehensive evaluation, a focused evaluation (focus on one domain area) will be used. The last summative comprehensive rating shall be used as the Focused rating score. The evaluation domains of the LMS rubric are: Domain 1: Planning and Preparation Domain 2: Environment Domain 3: Delivery of Service Domain 4: Professional Responsibilities and Leadership The final overall rating of LMS’s is based upon a summative scoring band that takes into consideration the ratings of a LMS in each Domain. The overall summative score is determined by totaling the 4 domain-level scores as follows. Unsatisfactory- 4-6 Basic- 7-10 Proficient-11-14 Distinguished 15-16

  • Traditional Medicine Cooperation 1. The aims of Traditional Medicine cooperation will be: (a) to build on existing agreements or arrangements already in place for Traditional Medicine cooperation; and (b) to promote information exchanges on Traditional Medicine between the Parties. 2. In pursuit of the objectives in Article 149 (Objectives), the Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities, including, but not limited to: (a) encouraging dialogue on Traditional Medicine policies and promotion of respective Traditional Medicine; (b) raising awareness of active effects of Traditional Medicine; (c) encouraging exchange of experience in conservation and restoration of Traditional Medicine; (d) encouraging exchange of experience on management, research and development for Traditional Medicine; (e) encouraging cooperation in the Traditional Medicine education field, mainly through training programs and means of communication; (f) having a consultation mechanism between the Parties' Traditional Medicine authorities; (g) encouraging cooperation in Traditional Medicine therapeutic services and products manufacturing; and (h) encouraging cooperation in research in the fields of Traditional Medicine in order to contribute in efficacy and safety assessments of natural resources and products used in health care.

  • Beta Services From time to time, We may invite You to try Beta Services at no charge. You may accept or decline any such trial in Your sole discretion. Beta Services will be clearly designated as beta, pilot, limited release, developer preview, non-production, evaluation or by a description of similar import. Beta Services are for evaluation purposes and not for production use, are not considered “Services” under this Agreement, are not supported, and may be subject to additional terms. Unless otherwise stated, any Beta Services trial period will expire upon the earlier of one year from the trial start date or the date that a version of the Beta Services becomes generally available. Oracle monitoring tools do not collect or store any of Your Content residing in the Services, except as needed for such purposes. Oracle does not monitor, and does not address issues with, non-Oracle software provided by You or any of Your Users that is stored in, or run on or through, the Services. Information collected by Oracle monitoring tools (excluding Your Content) may also be used to assist in managing Oracle’s product and service portfolio, to help Oracle address deficiencies in its product and service offerings, and for license management purposes.

  • Information Technology Enterprise Architecture Requirements If this Contract involves information technology-related products or services, the Contractor agrees that all such products or services are compatible with any of the technology standards found at xxxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/iot/2394.htm that are applicable, including the assistive technology standard. The State may terminate this Contract for default if the terms of this paragraph are breached.

  • Cable Television, Telephone & Internet Services Long Distance calling may be done only through the use of a prepaid phone card or by charges made to a third party number if using a provided, in room telephone. Neither the Institution nor the Manager guarantees the availability of telephone service or cable television services. If the Resident wants additional cable television, telephone or internet service above and beyond any that may be provided as “standard” in the Residence, the Resident must submit full details to and request and obtain the prior written approval of the Manager and Institution. With respect to Internet Services, the Institution may at its discretion only allow either the standard provided service or the approved alternate service and not both at the same time (Residents will need to complete the Institution’s standard forms issued by their IT department). Cutting of wiring, boring of holes, the use of wireless routers, routers, or switches are not permitted. Any unauthorized services or equipment may be removed by the Manager, at the Resident’s expense, without notice or liability. All Residents are subject to the Institution’s and/or Service Provider’s current Internet, cable television and telephone enrolment and usage policies.
