Librarian Workload. 7.3.1 The assigned hours of the regular contract workload shall be spent on the following activities as assigned by the Immediate Management Supervisor:
Librarian Workload. Librarians shall work thirty-five (35) hours per week the same number of weeks during the academic year as instructional faculty. schedules will be assigned by the xxxx/supervisor after consultation with the librarians. If a librarian works in excess of thirty-five (35) hours in a week, the librarian shall earn compensatory time at the rate of one (1) hour for each hour worked in excess of thirty-five (35) per week with the approval of the xxxx/supervisor. Compensatory time shall be taken on days during the academic year on which full time instructors are at work with the approval of the xxxx/supervisor. Disagreements about scheduling may be appealed to the Vice President of teaching, Learning and student Development. For more information regarding Librarian Workload, see section 6.16.
Librarian Workload. 6.41 The 35-hour weekly work schedule for each Librarian will be assigned by the Director of Libraries. The work week may include evening and weekend hours, so as to provide evening and weekend library and media services. Each Librarian's workload will not require more than five work days and will include five hours for non-student contact job-related activities unless otherwise agreed to in accordance with Article 6.13. The work day shall be scheduled in seven continuous hours, excluding meal periods, unless the Librarian consents to another schedule. Where travel or off-campus activities are required by the Director of Libraries, the time required will be included in the work week.
Librarian Workload. Bargaining unit members employed in the Oregon Tech Libraries have appointments with primary duties in the university libraries. Full-time (1.0 FTE) librarian bargaining unit members shall work a forty (40) hour week on a schedule established by the University Librarian and develop library systems and resources to support the educational and applied research mission of Oregon Tech, such as reference service, library research, information literacy instruction, collection development, and bibliographic organization and control. Bargaining unit member librarians shall meet faculty and student needs consistent with standards of quality recognized by program and institutional accreditation commissions.

  • Librarian An employee who has mastered the field of library science to a level adequate for him or her to provide leadership in the development and operation of a library in his or her area of specialization. The minimum qualification is a Master’s degree, or equivalent.

  • Librarians The normal work week for librarians is 35 hours per week. The maximum for reference desk coverage is 20 hours per week. Individual faculty members may elect to exceed this maximum. Where librarians are involved in instructional modes listed in Article 12.03, these shall be pro-rated. For part-time regular and non-regular type 2 librarians, part of their assignment shall be scheduled as non reference desk duties as agreed upon by the librarian and the administrator responsible. Scheduling work shall follow past practices and shall be delivered in cooperation with the administrator responsible.

  • Curriculum Work Service on a District curriculum committee shall be required for grade level or department chairpersons. All other teachers working on such committee(s) shall be designated (in writing) by the Curriculum Director and shall be paid, at the hourly rate contained in Schedule B, for all documented hours of committee service (up to such limits as may be imposed by the District) occurring when school is not in session (e.g. during the summer), during duty-free lunch periods or preparation periods, and before/after the teacher’s regularly scheduled work day. Curriculum committee work shall occur at such times as are determined or approved by the Curriculum Director.

  • Architecture The Private Improvements shall have architectural features, detailing, and design elements in accordance with the Project Schematic Drawings. All accessory screening walls or fences, if necessary, shall use similar primary material, color, and detailing as on the Private Improvements.

  • Workload An employee who believes that her workload is unsafe or consistently excessive shall discuss the problem with her immediate supervisor. If the problem is not resolved in this discussion, the employee may seek a remedy by means of the grievance procedure. If the matter is not resolved in the grievance procedure, it may be referred to troubleshooter who shall:

  • Faculty Workload The workload of faculty includes student advising, maintaining and improving expertise in a discipline and in pedagogy, serving on departmental and university committees, contributing to student growth and development, evaluating student performance, scholarly activities, and service to university and community, as well as teaching and class preparation. Additionally, as a professional, a faculty member shall devote a substantial amount of his/her workload to course preparation, research, the maintenance of professional expertise, innovations in teaching/learning and other similar activities. These endeavors shall comprise the faculty member’s workload.

  • Workloads (a) The parties agree that patient care is enhanced if concerns relating to professional practice, patient acuity, fluctuating Work-Loads and fluctuating staffing are resolved in a timely and effective manner.

  • Extra Work At any time during the Term of this Agreement, City may request that Consultant perform Extra Work. As used herein, “Extra Work” means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Software Use Case Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Supported on physical hardware solely to support virtual quests. Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization is designed to run and manage virtual instances and does not support user-space applications. Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization may be used as a virtual desktop infrastructure solution, however, the Subscription does not come with any software or support for the desktop operating system.
