Liaison Councils. 6.1.1. District Liaison Council [a] The District and the Association shall participate in a Liaison Council. The Liaison Council shall consist of administrators designated by the Superintendent and educators designated by the Association. The Liaison Council shall meet monthly during the school year or more often as business dictates, to discuss issues related to salary, benefits, and other items covered by the negotiated agreement between the District and the Association. [b] The Liaison Council is empowered to appoint committees to study and report on subjects agreed upon by the Council. On completion of its report and study on the subject assigned, each committee shall be considered dissolved and once dissolved; no committee shall be reactivated except by the Council.

  • Liaison Each Party shall designate a liaison to facilitate a cooperative working relationship between the Contractor and the Agency in the performance and administration of this Contract.

  • LIAISON COMMITTEE 8.01 A Liaison Committee shall be established which shall meet on an informal basis at the call of any of the parties signatory hereto, to discuss matters of mutual interest pertaining to the Project and/or this Agreement, with the objective of promoting and maintaining beneficial relations and cooperation between the parties, and of ensuring the achievement of the purposes of this Agreement. The Liaison will meet at least twice per year.

  • UNION COMMITTEE AND STEWARDS 6.01 No individual employee or group of employees shall undertake to represent the Union at meetings with the Corporation without proper authorization of the Union. In order that this may be carried out, the Corporation will recognize:

  • Stewards Stewards who attend Union/Management and Professional Responsibility Committee meetings outside of scheduled work hours shall be paid at straight time rates for time spent at the meetings.
