Liability Protection. Liability protection to defend, hold harmless and indemnify the supervisor in the event that any claim, legal proceeding, etc. is brought against him/her in his/her capacity as an employee of the District, provided he/she is acting within the scope of his/her employment is provided to supervisors. This protection is limited to the liability policy maintained by the District in the amount of $1,000,000 subject to carrier requirement and restrictions.
