Level Two - Superintendent. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level One, the grievant must file the grievance in writing with the Superintendent within ten (10) work days after the decision at Level One. The Superintendent may meet with the grievant. Within ten (10) work days after receiving the written grievance, the Superintendent will render a decision in writing.

Level Two - Superintendent. 1. Within five (5) days of receipt of the decision rendered by the principal in regard to such hearing, such decision may be further appealed by the aggrieved person to the superintendent. The appeal shall include a copy of the decision being appealed and the grounds for regarding the decision incorrect. The appeal shall be in writing, dated, and the receipt of the appeal initialed or recorded by the superintendent by date and time. It shall also state the name of all persons officially present at the prior hearing and such persons shall receive a copy of the appeal.
Level Two - Superintendent. 9.5.1 If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, he/she, or his/her designated representative may file a written appeal with the Superintendent or his/her designee with five (5) days of the decision given at Level One. The appeal shall include a statement of the decision being appealed, the grounds for regarding the decision unacceptable, and the requested course of action. Within five (5) days of receipt of the written appeal, the Superintendent, or his/her designee, will request the principal or immediate supervisor to forward to him/her in writing the decision and rationale given at Level One. After consultation with the grievant and the Union to establish a hearing date, the Superintendent shall give written notice of the time and place of the hearing to the grievant, Union representatives(s), and other persons officially involved in the grievance. The hearing shall be within fifteen (15) days of the receipt of the appeal. Within (10) days of the hearing, the Superintendent will communicate to the grievant and other parties in interest the decision, the reasons for the decision, and the evidence upon which the decision was based.
