Level Three - School Committee. If the grievance is not resolved to the satisfaction of the grievant at Level Two, the grievant may, within five (5) days after the date the Superintendent's or his/her designee's decision is due at Level Two, submit a written statement of the grievance to the COMMITTEE. Within ten (10) days after receipt of the grievant's written statement of the grievance, the COMMITTEE or its designated representative or representatives shall meet to consider the grievance with the grievant and also with representatives of the ASSOCIATION, who may be observers or, at the request of the grievant, participants. The COMMITTEE shall render its decision in writing to the grievant, with a copy to the ASSOCIATION, within seven (7) days after the conclusion of such meeting.

Level Three - School Committee. 1. If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of her grievance at level two, she may within three days after the hearing, file a grievance again with the Westwood Cafeteria Association for appeal to the Westwood School Committee.
Level Three - School Committee a. If the aggrieved party is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level Two, s/he may, within ten (10) work days after the decision, file the grievance with the School Committee.
Level Three - School Committee. Grievances related to the discipline of a director are not subject to Level Three and may proceed to Step Four. The COMMITTEE shall render its decision in writing to the grievant, with a copy to the ASSOCIATION, within ten (10) days after the conclusion of such meeting.
Level Three - School Committee. If the grievance has not been resolved at Level Two to the satisfaction of the aggrieved, the aggrieved may appeal such decision to the School Committee within ten (10) workdays of receipt of the Level Two decision. Level Three is available for grievances, which concern matters, which remain under the jurisdiction of the School Committee as a result of the Education Reform Act of 1993. The Committee, through the Superintendent and the School Committee, shall determine if Level III applies to the grievance. If Level III is not applicable, Level IV will apply after Level II. Within fifteen (15) workdays of said meeting, a written response will be sent to the grievant.

Related to Level Three - School Committee

  • Central      Committee In future central bargaining between Service Employees Union and the participating hospitals, an employee serving on the Union's Central Negotiating Committee shall be paid for time lost from his normal straight time working hours at his regular rate of pay and without loss of leave credits for attending central negotiating meetings with the Hospitals' Central Negotiating Committee in direct negotiations up to the point of arbitration. Upon reference to arbitration, the Negotiating Committee members shall receive unpaid time off for the purpose of attending arbitration hearings. It is understood and agreed that the maximum number of Union Central Negotiating Committee members entitled to payment under this provision shall be eight, and in no case will more than one employee from a hospital be entitled to such payment. The Union shall advise the Hospitals' Central Negotiating Committee, before negotiations commence, of those employees to be paid under this provision. The Hospitals' Central Negotiating Committee shall advise the eight hospitals accordingly. It is understood that this clause does not apply to a hospital that is not participating in Central Bargaining.

  • Education Committee (a) The Employer will establish an Education Committee for all employees in the facility, which shall include at least one representative from ONA members.

  • Benefits Committee As per LOA#10, a benefits committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, shall convene upon request to address all matters that may arise in the operation of the OSSTF ELHT.

  • Consultative Committee 26.1 The parties agree to establish a consultative committee to assist the parties improve productivity, efficiency and to provide for the effective involvement of employees in decision making processes. The committee will consist of an equal number of company and elected employee representatives.

  • TRANSITION COMMITTEE 8.1.0 A transition committee comprised of the employee representatives and the employer representatives, including the Crown, will be established by January 31, 2016 to address all matters that may arise in the creation of the Trust.

  • Review Committee A Student may ask that the decision of the Housing Director or designee to deny the cancellation be reviewed. The review will be conducted by a committee consisting of University officials.

  • Curriculum Committee The Curriculum Committee shall consist of sixteen (16) members of the bargaining unit, three (3) students, and three (3) administrators; provided, however, that in the case of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, the Curriculum Committee shall be composed of ten (10) members of the bargaining unit, two (2) students, and two (2) administrators.

  • Grievance Committee The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee composed of the Chief Xxxxxxx and not more than (as set out in Local Provisions Appendix) employees selected by the Union who have completed their probationary period. A general representative of the Union may be present at any meeting of the Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to deal with complaints or grievances as set out in this Collective Agreement. The Union shall keep the Hospital notified in writing of the names of the members of the Grievance Committee appointed or selected under this Article as well as the effective date of their respective appointments. A Committee member shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during their regular scheduled working hours in attending grievance meetings with the Hospital up to, but not including arbitration. The number of employees on the Grievance Committee shall be determined locally.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Selection Committee A. Each building site will appoint a selection committee for the TLS. The committee shall be comprised of equal numbers of teachers and administrators and at least one teacher will be appointed by the Des Moines Education Association.
