Level of Fees. (i) The fee level for the courses listed below will be £3,000.00 for a learner for a full academic year.
Level of Fees. Ravensbourne College currently offers four types of undergraduate and one type of postgraduate programme. The College has decided to offer a variable fee structure against type of course. Cost of all courses will rise in 2008. This is to recognise the College move to a new site on Greenwich Peninsular. This will give access to students to a higher standard of facility and the cost reflects this improvement. Fees are expected to rise with inflation on an annual basis. As a small institution the balance between fees and bursaries is critical. The access agreement for fees and bursaries is the most conservative the College will offer. Level of Fees. Level of fee or fee limits: £ 2,900 per year for all directly funded full time students. This fee will be introduced in the academic year of 2010/11. It will be levied to all United Kingdom students and to students who are nationals of any other state of the European Union. The fee will apply for the full duration of the course and will be subject to an annual inflationary rise or 3% whichever is the higher.

We propose to continue to charge the following tuition fees for full time students: Higher National Diplomas and Foundation Degrees - £6500 Two groups of full time Foundation Degrees students only attend for one afternoon and evening a week and we do not intend to increase their fee to over £6000. In 2017/18 we anticipate that we will have about 160 students who will pay a fee of £6500. Thus the total income above the fee limit will be £80000. We do not intend to increase the fees for part time students to more than £4500

Part time students are defined as those students who are studying at an intensity of at least 50% full-time equivalent, that is those who will complete their studies in no more than twice the length of time it would take to complete an equivalent full-time course. A full-time course is equivalent to 360 credits. For example, if a part-time student chose to study 80 credits one year and 40 credits the next they would be expected to contribute £1.5k per year. Students studying on a module by module basis will be charged on a pro-rata basis of the full time undergraduate fee. For example, if studying 30 credits they would pay £250. Bursary and Scholarship Support to Students on full state support The University has generated £2m of external donor sponsorship to support undergraduate scholarships. In addition to this, we will spend £8.3m2 per year on bursaries and scholarships. 2 Once in steady state from 2010-11 The University will provide more than the minimum commitment of £300 per year to those on full state support.3 4 We will offer three types of bursary/scholarship provision based on need and to support under-represented groups. All support to full and part-time students will be in cash terms. We will offer bursaries of up to £3k per year for some groups of under-represented students. This amounts to £9k over a standard three-year course. These bursaries/scholarships will be aimed at particular target groups. Whilst this level of support will not be available to the majority of students, the package will support approximately one-quarter of the University’s eligible undergraduate population. For students commencing courses after 1 September 2008 the University of Exeter proposes to set tuition fees across all undergraduate courses at the rate of £3,145 per annum1, including students enrolled on PGCE courses. The only exceptions to this will be: • BSc Medical Imaging (Diagnostic Radiography), for which the annual fee will be covered by an NHS Bursary; • Students spending a whole year studying at a European University under the Socrates/Erasmus programme, who will be exempted from all tuition fees; • Students undertaking a full-year placement either in industry or at a foreign university not covered by Socrates or Erasmus, who will be liable for fees of £1,570 per year; • Fifth year B Medicine or B Surgery students at the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry, where tuition fees will be met by the Department of Health.
