Common use of Letter of Credit Advances Clause in Contracts

Letter of Credit Advances. The term "Letter of Credit Advance" is used in this Agreement in accordance with the meanings set forth in this paragraph 2.02(f). The making of any payment by the Issuing Bank under a Letter of Credit is sometimes referred to herein as the making of a Letter of Credit Advance by the Issuing Bank in the amount of such payment. The making of any payment by a Bank for the account of the Issuing Bank under Section 2.02(e) on account of an unreimbursed drawing on a Letter of Credit is sometimes referred to herein as the making of a Letter of Credit Advance to the Applicable Account Party by such Bank. The making of such a Letter of Credit Advance by a Bank with respect to an unreimbursed drawing on a Letter of Credit shall reduce, by a like amount, the outstanding Letter of Credit Advance of the Issuing Bank with respect to such unreimbursed drawing.
