Letter Contract. The Parties acknowledge that certain of the investigation, design and preconstruction activities described in Article 3 of this Agreement were performed pursuant to the Letter Contract between the parties dated [ ]. Pursuant to the terms of the Letter Contract, upon execution of this Agreement by the Department (the “Agreement Effective Date”), the Letter Contract shall automatically terminate and shall merge into and be superseded by this Agreement. For avoidance of doubt, any services provided or work performed pursuant to the merged Letter Contract, and prior to the date that this Agreement is effective, shall be governed by the terms and condition of this Agreement.

  • TERM OF MASTER CONTRACT The term of this Master Contract shall be from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 (Title 5 California Code of Regulations section 3062(a)). Neither the CONTRACTOR nor the LEA is required to renew this Master Contract in subsequent contract years. The parties acknowledge that any subsequent Master Contract is to be re-negotiated prior to June 30, 2022. If the subsequent Master Contract has not been executed prior to June 30, 2022, this Contract shall remain in force and effect until terminated as provided herein or a new Master Contract is executed.
