Common use of Length of Vacations Clause in Contracts

Length of Vacations. Effective March 31, 2006 all full-time nurses shall receive an annual vacation with pay in accordance with their years of employment as follows: Less than one (1) year 1¼ working day for each month of employment One (1) year or more three (3) weeks Three (3) years or more four (4) weeks Eleven (11) years or more five (5) weeks Twenty (20) years or more six (6) weeks Twenty five (25) years or more seven (7) weeks Any change in a nurse’s vacation entitlement in accordance with this Article shall accrue to her/him in the employment year in which it is earned. Part time vacation per cent in lieu to increase as Full Time as per article 19.06 Note 11 years = 5 weeks 25 years = 7 weeks
