LENGTH-OF-SERVICE ALLOWANCE. The length-of-service allowance is paid monthly, unless otherwise agreed locally. If the allowance is paid once or twice a year, it is not considered when calculating holiday pay or average hourly earnings. The term ‘length-of-service’ refers to the years of uninterrupted services under the current employment relationship. Years of service is also accumulated by periods of employment in other companies controlled by the same company when directly followed by the current employment relationship. In the event of a change of ownership in the company, employees transferred as so-called old employees, the period of employment under the previous owners is also included in the total uninterrupted duration of employment. The length-of-service allowance is based on the number of working days as referred in Section 7 of the Annual Holidays Act. The amount of the allowance The amount of the length-of-service allowance depends on the years of uninterrupted service by the end of the previous month. Employees may choose to bank this allowance and take it as paid time off at an agreed time between the employee and management to a maximum of (10) days time in lieu per year. Banking of attendance allowance must be by written request on an approved form. Outstanding balances will be paid out at Christmas. Sand Blasting allowance A sand blasting allowance of $50 per day will be paid for any sand blasting performed in any given day. Meal allowance An employee required to work overtime for more than two hours shall either be supplied with a meal by the Company or paid $10.50 meal allowance.

  • Length of Service For purposes of this Agreement and the method of computing sick leave, annual leave, seniority, and other conditions of employment, except as otherwise provided for herein, a “month” shall be defined as 173.3 hours of work, and a year shall be defined as 2080 hours of work. For purposes of computing longevity (wage) increments and annual leave progression steps, a “year” shall be defined as 1664 hours of work or twelve (12) months, whichever comes last. Time paid for but not worked (excluding standby pay) shall be regarded as time worked for purposes of computing wages and benefits. Time worked which is paid on an overtime basis shall count as time worked for purposes of computing wages and benefits not to exceed 2080 hours within any twelve (12) month period.

  • Term of Service Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, Atlas shall serve as the Managing General Partner of the Partnership until either it:

  • Period of Services Unless otherwise stated herein, the Consultant will begin work after receipt of a properly executed copy of this Agreement. This Agreement assumes conditions permitting continuous and orderly progress through completion of the services. Times for performance shall be extended as necessary for delays or suspensions due to circumstances that the Consultant does not control. If such delay or suspension extends for more than six months, Consultant’s compensation shall be renegotiated.

  • Determination of Service for Sick Leave with Pay Actual time worked and all leave with pay, except for educational leave, shall be included in determining the pro rata accrual of sick leave credits each month, provided that the employee works thirty-two (32) hours or more in that month.

  • PERIOD OF SERVICE The Consultant shall complete the Services on or before December 31, 2019 (the “Deadline”), unless the Authority agrees to extend the Deadline for good reason; provided, however, that the Authority may terminate this Contract at any time in accordance with Section 14. Time is of the essence in performance of this Contract. There will be no obligation established between Authority and the Consultant for performance of the Services until Authority provides the Consultant execution of this Contract and receipt by the Authority of appropriate Certificates of Insurance and other documentation as may be required herein.   • Year of Service An Employee must complete at least Hours of Service during a Vesting Computation Period to receive credit for a Year of Service under Article V. [Note: The number may not exceed 1,000. If left blank, the requirement is 1,000.]

  • Term of Services The term of this Agreement shall begin on the Effective Date and shall end on , the date of completion specified in Exhibit A, and Consultant shall complete the work described in Exhibit A on or before that date, unless the term of the Agreement is otherwise terminated or extended, as provided for in Section 8.   • Compensation for Overtime 9.5.1 All overtime hours, except those overtime hours exceeding twelve (12) hours in one day, shall be compensated at a rate of pay equal to time and one-half the regular rate of pay of the employee. Those overtime hours exceeding twelve (12) in one day shall be compensated at a rate of pay equal to two times the regular pay of the employee.

  • Compensatory Time for Overtime Eligible Employees A. Compensatory Time Eligibility Compensatory time off may be earned in lieu of cash only when an institution and the employee agree. Compensatory time must be granted at the rate of one and one half (1-1/2) hours of compensatory time for each hour of overtime worked.

  • Cost of Services Political Subdivision shall share some expenses for the above services, supplies and equipment. Additional elections may lower costs for each entity, and election cancellations may raise costs for each entity. It is understood that other political entities may wish to participate in the use of the County’s electronic voting equipment and polling locations, and it is agreed that Contracting Officer may enter into other contracts with entities for those purposes on terms and conditions generally similar to those set forth in this Agreement. Only the actual expenses directly attributable to this Agreement and any prorated shared expenses may be charged to Political Subdivision, plus a 10% administrative fee.
