Length of School Year. Section 1. Teacher Duty Days: The number of duty days will be 190 for returning teachers and 193 for teachers new to the School District, inclusive of the following five paid holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the following Friday, Presidents’ Day, and Memorial Day. Up to one-half of one duty day will be reserved for the Federation to meet with new teachers.
