Length of Lease. Section 4 (A) of the Attorney General’s model lease establishes the Initial Rental Period the tenant has a right to occupy the premises. During this lease term, assuming the tenant does not breach the lease, the landlord may not increase the rent nor evict the tenant. On the other hand, if the tenant is evicted for breach of the lease or leaves the residence before the end of the lease term then the tenant will be responsible for however many months of rent remain unpaid and also for any damage to the premises.1 If the tenant does unjustifiably move before the lease has expired the landlord must make a good faith effort to find a new tenant to rent the premises. The amount of rent this new tenant pays will then be subtracted from the amount the departing tenant owes.2
Length of Lease. 2.1 This Lease begins on (the “Commencement Date”) and continues until (the “Expiration Date”). You must notify University in writing at least 60 days prior to the Expiration Date regardless of whether you desire to continue leasing the Townhouse after the Expiration Date or move out on or before the Expiration Date. Either you or University may end the Lease for any reason at any time (even prior to the Expiration Date) by giving the other party 60 days written notice, and the Lease shall then expire on the date stated in the written notice which is at least 60 days but not more than ninety (90) days after the date of the notice.
Length of Lease. The Landlord will rent this residence to the Tenant for one year. This term shall begin on July XX, 2005 and shall end on the June 30, 2006. If the tenant takes possession of the unit on a day other than the first day of a calendar month, then the term of this Lease shall be deemed shortened by the number of days between that date and the first day of that month.
Length of Lease. This Lease shall be for a period of 12 months and shall start on and end on (the “Initial Period”), and shall continue thereafter on a month-to-month basis, subject to termination on 20 business days’ notice.
Length of Lease. A rental year ranges from 350 to 365 days. A minimum of ten days at the start of the Lease are required for cleaning/painting and repairs of the apartment for LESSEE. Please note this lease will begin no earlier than the tenth day and no proration will be given. The rent amount is due for the month of August on August first, NO EXCEPTIONS. Leases will not be automatically renewed. If LESSEE has lived up to the terms of the Lease and desires to sign a new Lease for the following year, LESSOR must be notified and a new Lease signed by the required date. Until LESSEE has signed a Lease, it will be assumed the residence is available for rent, and will be shown to new prospective tenants. We do not do any painting or cleaning of carpets when any or all LESSEES renew Lease.
Length of Lease. The landlord will rent this residence to the tenant on a month-to-month basis in accordance with 14 § 6002. This agreement shall begin on the day of 20 , at noon. Either landlord or tenant has the option to terminate this agreement with at least days' notice or 30 days, whichever is longer.
