Legal Services Fund. 1. The Employer shall make contributions to a prepaid legal services trust fund known as the “Building Service 32BJ Legal Services Fund” to cover employees covered by this Agreement who work more than two (2) days per week with such benefits as may be determined by the Trustees.

Legal Services Fund. The City agrees that it will contribute to the New England Teamsters and Subscribing Employers Group Legal Services Fund, a jointly administered legal services trust fund for Local 25 members, in the following manner and amounts for each regular, seniority employee who completes his/her initial six months of employment: The prepaid Legal fund contribution will be $.15 an hour, and all future increases shall be shared equally on a fifty- fifty basis between the City and the employee. Effective three months after ratification, the prepaid Legal fund contribution will be $0.175 an hour. For any future increases above $0.175 per hour, the City agrees to pay $0.15 per hour plus 50% of the cost in excess of $0.15 per hour. This contribution will be for all hours worked, or paid for, including vacation and holidays, up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. The benefits to be provided under this Plan will be determined by the Board of Trustees, half of whom shall be appointed by Local 25 and half of whom shall be appointed by the contributing Employers in a manner established by the Trust Documents and approved by law. Funds paid under this plan may not be used to xxx the City or to defend against an action taken by the City, including any arrest or other enforcement action taken by Cambridge Police officers.
Legal Services Fund. (a) Effective April 1, 2015,the Employer agrees to contribute to the Service Employees 32BJ North Legal Services Fund the sum of Five Dollars ($5.00) per employee per month, to provide eligible employees with such benefits as may be determined by the Trustees of the Fund. Effective April 1, 2016, the Employer shall contribute the sum of Five Dollars ($5.00) per employee per month. Effective April 1, 2017 the Employer shall contribute the sum of Six Dollars ($6.00) per employee per month. Legal Services Fund. The Company agrees to make contributions to the Legal Services Fund at the rate of one dollar and thirty cents ($1.30) per day per position. The resources of the Legal Services Fund shall be used to provide Marine Engineers with such benefits, and legal services as may be by the Union but in any event shall not be used for arbitrations or legal actions against the Company. The Company agrees to send the aggregate of the contributions for each month to the Union on or before the 15th of the following month. Any notice of disciplinary action which may have been placed on the personnel file of the Engineer Officer shall be voided after two (2) years have elapsed since the disciplinary action was taken provided that no further disciplinary action has been recorded during this period. Upon written request of an Engineer the personal file of that Engineer shall be made available once per year for examination in the presence of an authorized representative of the Company. The Engineer Officer may request to be accompanied by a Union Representative. This paragraph also applies when an Engineer Officer is off ship on leave of absence due to the following: Article Scheduled Time Off Without Pay; Sickness; Accident at work; While laid off by the Company if the Engineer has been given Notice of Intent; or For any leave of absence authorized by the Company. MISCELLANEOUS No pets are to be carried on board ship by any of the personnel. The Company agrees to place at the gangway a notice when the ship is cleared by Customs and Immigration. A sailing board shall be posted adjacent to the gangway immediately upon the arrival of the vessel in port. Legal Services Fund. Effective April 1, 1991, in order to provide employees and their dependents with assistance in defraying the cost of legal counsel, the Employer agrees to contribute thirteen (13¢) cents per hour for each hour worked by each employee covered by this agreement to the “RHODE ISLAND PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYEES’ LEGAL SERVICES FUND”, established by a declaration of trust dated September 20, 1974. Said fund shall be administered by a Board of Trustees selected by the Union.

Legal Services Fund. For the Company For the Union Letter 1 Subject: Product Line Transfer In the event that the manufacture of a product line is moved to another Peterborough Plant of the Company or to another employer, or work is transferred as defined below, employees with three months or more of service credits, whose work is so transferred will be given three (3) months' notice that their job is to be discontinued. Transfer of work is defined as the discontinuance of ongoing work at one Company location coupled with the assignment of the same work to a different Company location, if such assignment of work would directly cause a decrease in the number of Bargaining Unit employees performing such work at the first location. An employee whose job is directly eliminated by the transfer of work or the transfer of a product line and who as a consequence is transferred under any provisions of Article 14 - Seniority shall be paid in accordance with Article 14.05 on any job to which he is transferred. In cases of a product line being moved, preferential consideration will be given to the request of any such employee who would be laid off out of the Peterborough Plant as a result of the move, and who asks to be employed at the new Company location to which his work has been transferred, on work for which he is qualified, or, if such work is no longer performed in the new Company location, on work for which he can qualify within a period of sixty days. In giving such preferential consideration the Company will take into account the relative seniority of such employees. The above will apply notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary in any mutual document between the Parties dealing with Peterborough Plant closing. In addition to this, where such an employee has been laid off due to a product line being moved and makes application in person to some other Peterborough Plant of the Company covered by the Collective Agreement between the Company and the Union, then during a period of six months from the date of such application, the Peterborough Plant to which the application has been made will give preferential consideration to such an employee over persons making application for employment, within the framework of the information he supplied on an application form filled out in making such application, for job openings for which he is qualified or can qualify within a period of sixty days.
